Rinse the tea leaves
Put the tea leaves in a teapot, pour in a little boiling water, swirl briefly and drain it off to rinse away bitterness.
Brew the tea
Add the rest of the boiling water to the pot and let the tea steep.
Add mint and sugar
Stuff the fresh mint leaves into the pot and stir in the sugar.
Steep again briefly
Let the tea sit with the mint so the flavor infuses.
